Lutto nel mondo dell'atletica e dello sport Italiano. Si è spento a Montecarlo all'età di 76 anni Elio Locatelli.
Per oltre mezzo secolo figura di riferimento come tecnico e dirigente (attuale direttore della performance Fidal), Locatelli ha ricoperto a lungo l'incarico di direttore tecnico delle squadre nazionali azzurre, tra il 1987 e il 1994, e più di recente nel biennio 2017-2018.
