la Lega europea di nuoto risponde alle notizie apparse su alcuni media stranieri riguardo una presunta serie di irregolarità amministrative che avrebbero coinvolto i vertici del bureau della federazione europea (il numero uno di Federnuoto Paolo Barelli , David Sparkes , ex capo responsabile del nuoto britannico e Tamas Gyarfas , ex presidente della federazione ungherese di nuoto) con un asciutto comunicato:
LEN respinge completamente le accuse riportate da alcuni media. A seguito di audizioni e verifiche interne, il bureau della Lega ritiene all'unanimità che tali accuse siano totalmente infondate.
Allo stato delle cose LEN ritiene che tutti i suoi organi abbiano sempre rispettato le linee di condotta e operato secondo principi di correttezza e trasparenza.
