Il presidente del Comitato olimpico canadese (COC) David Shoemaker chiede alle autorità di dare priorità alla vaccinazione degli atleti qualificati per le Olimpiadi di Tokyo.
In un'intervista a CBC/Radio Canada Shoemaker ha detto di "avere manifestato al nostro governo il desiderio di avere la nostra intera squadra olimpica vaccinata prima della partenza per Tokyo. Ci è stato risposto che si tratta di una richiesta legittima"
