A dispetto della notizia dell'ultima ora in merito all'annullamento dei Campionati giovanili francesi , si sono appena conclusi dall'altra parte del mondo, a Southport nel Queensland, i Campionati Nazionali Giovanili " 2021 Australian Age Championships " trasmessi in diretta mondiale su Amazon Prime Video, in gara per l'occasione circa 1.600 giovani atleti dagli 11 ai 18 anni che richiamano subito alla mente i nostri Criteria di Riccione e i Campionati Giovanili Estivi di Roma che speriamo possano riprendere regolare corso a partire già dalla prossima estate.
Vi segnaliamo alcuni risultati di rilievo. Nei 200 farfalla Elizabeth Dekkers (16) 2.07.25, nei 100 stile libero Flynn Southam (15) 49.55 e 22.83 nei 50 stile libero, nei 100 dorso Isaac Cooper (17) 54.56, nei 100 rana Hayley Mackinder (13) 1:11.66 e negli 800 stile libero Samuel Short (17) 7.52.18, ma quello che maggiormente conta è lo svolgimento della rassegna nazionale giovanile.
