La Federazione internazionale di nuoto (FINA) informa di avere cancellato le due tappe di Coppa del mondo (SWC 2021) previste a Jinan (CHN) e Singapore per le preoccupazioni legate alla pandemia di Coronavirus, che in Estremo oriente sta attraversando il pieno della terza ondata, e le conseguenti restrizioni agli spostamenti.
Per le stesse ragioni i Campionati mondiali giovanili previsti per il 24-29 agosto a Kazan sono stati rinviati al 2022.
Il calendario della Coppa del mondo diventa quindi il seguente:
Berlino (GER), 1-3 ottobre
Budapest (HUN), 7-9 ottobre
Doha (QAT), 21-23 ottobre
Kazan (RUS), 28-30 ottobre
