Federnuoto ha pubblicato due circolari con le modifiche apportate al regolamento attività del settore nuoto e le modifiche al regolamento tecnico del nuoto. Adeguamento delle fasce d'età giovanili per Europei Juniores, Mondiali Juniores e Europeo U23, innalzamento del numero di atleti per le Universiadi di Chengdu, estensione da 1 a 2 wild card per i Campionati Assoluti Primaverili, il regolamento tecnico del nuoto è stato adeguato alle nuove indicazioni normative di World Aquatics.
