Le Associazioni Allenatori di USA, Australia, Gran Bretagna e Canada escono da WSCA.
Annunciata una stretta collaborazione fra ASCA, CSCA, SCTA e BSCA, le quattro principali associazioni allenatori e istruttori di nuoto del mondo.

World Swimming Magazine riporta la dichiarazione congiunta dell' American Swimming Coaches Association ( ASCA ), Swim Coaches and Teachers Australia ( SCTA ), Canadian Swimming Coaches Association ( CSCA ) e British Swimming Coaches Association ( BSCA ) in cui annunciano il ritiro della loro affiliazione a WSCA, l'Associazione Mondiale degli Allenatori di Nuoto presieduta da Jon Rudd , perché sostengono che le attuali priorità di WSCA non siano più conformi alla loro visione e non soddisfino gli standard di vigilanza organizzativa e di rappresentanza dei membri, valori che risultano fondamentali per ciascuna delle quattro associazioni.
Nel comunicato viene anche annunciata una stretta collaborazione operativa fra le quattro associazioni " ... per perseguire obiettivi comuni, per il progresso dello sport e per il benessere degli atleti e degli allenatori".
ASCA , CSCA , SCTA e BSCA insieme rappresentano oltre 40.000 allenatori e istruttori.
