Segnaliamo l'intervista del quotidiano Corriere Fiorentino a Gregorio Paltrinieri realizzata dall'allenatore di basket Luca Banchi , seguono due "passaggi" ed il link all'articolo integrale.
Il termine versatilità: nel basket è diventato una virtù. Lo è anche nel nuoto?
«Penso sia molto importante sapersi adattarsi alle situazioni. Nel nuoto è versatile uno che in ogni situazione, che ci sia mare mosso o piatto, che ci sia vento o no, che quel giorno stia da Dio oppure abbia la febbre, sa quanto vale e riesce a tirar fuori il meglio in ogni momento».
In realtà tu puoi lavorare in solitudine. Ho grande invidia per voi nuotatori, o per chi fa atletica leggera, perché lo potete fare. E non potete bluffare con voi stessi. Nello sport di squadra qualche scappatoia esiste...
«Il nuoto è così. Sei in vasca, sei solo tu, la testa sott’acqua. Hai questo senso di solitudine... Però mi è sempre piaciuto: ti senti artefice del tuo destino».
