Con il 31 dicembre è terminato l'impegno di Richard William Duncan "Dick" Pound per l'Agenzia mondiale antidoping (WADA), della quale è stato fondatore e presidente dal 1999 al 2007.
Avvocato canadese, nuotatore olimpico ai Giochi di Roma 1960, Pound ha contribuito alla crescita dell'Agenzia e alla stesura del Codice mondiale antidoping e ricopriva attualmente il ruolo di Consigliere.
