Gregorio Paltrinieri ha svolto una sessione di test presso il Centro di Preparazione Olimpica "Giulio Onesti" di Roma. In collaborazione con lo staff tecnico della Federazione Italiana Nuoto e con gli esperti dell'Istituto di Medicina e Scienza dello Sport del CONI, l’atleta è stato sottoposto a una serie di valutazioni fisiologiche e biomeccaniche. Gli obiettivi dei test includevano l’analisi della curva velocità-lattato e l'analisi della meccanica della bracciata.
