La diciottenne ranista azzurra Benedetta Pilato (CC Aniene - Fiamme Oro) dopo i Mondiali di Fukuoka lascerà la sua Taranto ed il suo mentore Vito D'Onghia per trasferirsi a Torino, sotto La Mole studierà biologia e si allenerà con coach Antonio Satta , tecnico del Centro Nuoto Torino e guida tecnica di Alessandro Miressi . La sua base di allenamento sarà il Centro federale di alta specializzazione del Palazzo del Nuoto, del medesimo gruppo di allenamento fanno parte Marco Orsi, Alessandro Bori, Ludovico Blu Art Viberti e Gabriele Mancini.
Benedetta Pilato sceglie Torino. Benny cambia città e allenatore pensando ai Giochi di Parigi (La Repubblica)
