Aspettando il mondiale di Singapore. La scorsa edizione di Doha 2024

In attesa della XXII edizione dei Campionati del Mondo in programma a Singapore, proponiamo una sintesi di quanto accaduto lo scorso anno nel corso della rassegna iridata di Doha svolta presso l'Hamad Aquatic Center di Doha dall'11 al 18 febbraio 2024.

Italia quinta nel medagliere per nazioni del nuoto, siamo saliti dodici volte sul podio per ritirare 2 ori, 5 argenti e 5 bronzi. L'irlandese Daniel Wiffen (800-1500 stile libero) e la statutitense Claire Curzan (50-100-200 dorso) sono stati eletti migliori nuotatori del mondiale. Il medagliere è stato vinto dagli Stati Uniti davanti a Cina e Australia.

MEDAGLIERE PER NAZIONI (TOP 5)

Le nostre migliori prestazioni tecniche di settore,  secondo il punteggio tabellare World Aquatics (FINA Point), sono state ottenute entrambe nei 50 rana, ad opera di Nicolò Martinenghi (26.39 - 950 p.ti) e Benedetta Pilato (29.89 - 941 p.ti) , seguono nell'ordine di punteggio i 100 stile libero di Alessandro Miressi (47.72 - 946 p.ti), gli 800 stile libero di Gregorio Paltrinieri (7.42.98 - 931 p.ti)  e quelli di Simona Quadarella (8.17.44 - 925 p.ti).
