L'unione fa la forza. La federnuoto e la federatletica canadesi hanno deciso di intraprendere un progetto condiviso per iniziative di marketing, attrarre nuovi sponsor e legarli agli sport olimpici e paralimpici più partecipati e di maggior successo a livello internazionale (a Tokyo metà delle 24 medaglie olimpiche e tre quarti di quelle paralimpiche canadesi provenivano da atletica leggera e nuoto).
Un'operazione davvero interessante, che potrebbe ispirare altre discipline sportive e altre nazioni. Dopotutto l'immagine degli sportivi di discipline con caratteristiche simili possono trovare affinità anche nel campo del marketing e delle sponsorizzazioni.
L'iniziativa ha subito visto la partecipazione di Bell Canada , la divisione nazionale della nota azienda informatica.
