British Swimming ha lanciato "Pride in Water" uno spazio web che si pone come fine il supporto e l'inclusione della comunità LGBT+ nel mondo delle discipline acquatiche, utile per riflettere, per conoscere e per condividere storie che possano educare favorendo la comprensione e la piena inclusione sportiva in ambienti sicuri, equi e confortevoli per tutti.
A supporto dell'iniziativa l'ex sprinter Mark Foster dichiara.
"Sono davvero orgoglioso di sostenere questa iniziativa. Penso che sia davvero importante per il nostro sport e per i nostri atleti avere un ambiente in cui possano sentirsi totalmente a proprio agio con se stessi ed avere dei riferimenti ... per me come nuotatore questo sarebbe stato utile e spero che possa aiutare a coltivare gli atleti e i campioni del futuro.".
