Il campione olimpico australiano Michael Klim (43) è ricoverato presso l'ospedale "Chris O'Brien Lifehouse" dopo essersi sottoposto ad un delicato intervento chirurgico per rimuovere una ciste dalla gola, lo comunica il diretto interessato tramite la sua pagina IG con tanto di foto post-operazione e i ringraziamenti allo staff medico dell'ospedale.
Delfinista e liberista australiano di origini polacche, compagno di allenamento di Alexander Popov sotto la guida tecnica di Gennadi Touretski , nel 2020 è stato inserito nella prestigiosa International Swimming Hall of Fame (ISHOF), è salito sei volte sul podio olimpico in tre diverse edizioni dei Giochi.
