Grandi novità per il nuoto USA: a partire dal 1 gennaio 2020 alla presidenza dell'associazione degli allenatori di nuoto USA salirà Steve Roush, concludendo così i trentacinque (!) anni di reggenza di John Leonard. Sotto la guida di Leonard ASCA ha più che decuplicato le proprie dimensioni, passando da mille a undicimila associati e impiegando uno staff di dieci persone a tempo pieno, lanciando programmi educativi (Swim America) e imponendosi come interlocutore istituzionale autorevole e puntuale.
